Abstract

PT. Karyamitra Budisentosa Caruban-Jawa Timur Indonesia. PT. Karyamitra Budisentosa merupakan salah satu perusahaan memproduksi sepatu boot wanita yang mempunyai bentuk sepatu boot dan mempunyai hak tinggi, karena sepatu ini khusus digunakan untuk wanita. Dalam proses perakitan sepatu ditemukan masalah yang terjadi yaitu kerusakan upper sepatu saat lasting. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara untuk pengambilan data. Masalah kerusakan upper yang terjadi pada proses lasting penyebabnya adalah material kulit yang digunakan untuk upper tidak sesuai dengan prosedur aturan pemotongan bahan arah kemuluran dan ketegangan tidak memperhatikan metode pemotongan, sehinga saat lasting penarikan material upper tidak sesuai dengan arah kemulurannya saat lasting, usulan perbaikan untuk mengatasi kerusakan upper yaitu mengikuti prosedur aturan pemotongan bahan kulit dengan benar yaitu menentukan arah ketegangan dan kemuluran material kulit terlebih dahulu sebelum dipotong, setelah itu pemotongan sesuaikan dengan pola yang dibutuhkan arah kemuluran potongnglah dengan arah kemuluran dan arah ketegangan potonglah sesuai karena material sesuai dengan arah kemuluran dan arah keteganganya. The process of assembling superiors and subordinates of shoes is one that determines the comfort of wear and the quality of a good shoe product. The method used in this process is assembling at PT. Karyamitra Budisentosa Caruban-East Java Indonesia. PT. Karyamitra Budisentosa is one of the companies producing women's boots that have the form of boots in general and have high rights, because these shoes are specifically used for women. In the process of assembling shoes found a problem that occurred, namely the upper damage to the shoe broke during casting. The internship activity was held on 18 February 2019 – 11 April 2019 with the title "Overcoming the Problem of Damage to Upper Boot at PT. Karyamitra Budisentosa, Caruban, East Java ". The method used is direct work practice, observation and interviews for date collection. The upper damage problem that occurred during the lasting process was because the leather material used for the upper was not in accordance with the procedure for cutting material in the direction of stretch and the tension did not pay attention to instructions, so that the lasting withdrawal of the upper material did not match the direction of stretch overcoming upper damage is to follow the procedure of cutting the skin correctly, which is to determine the direction of tension and elongation of the skin material before being cut, after that the cut adjusts to the pattern needed for stretching direction with the direction of stretch and tension direction cut in the direction of tension, so when lasting upper younger material is done because the material is in accordance with the direction of elongation and tension direction
