Abstract

Perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri kulit sarung tangan golf di PT. Adi Satria Abadi seringkali masih terdapat produk cacat pada proses pembuatannya. Agar dapat mengurangi hal tersebut maka karya akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memecahkan permasalahannya. Materi yang diamati yaitu sarung tangan yang terdapat pada tahap sewing khususnya cacat pada bagian jahit tindas logo. Metode yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara. Berdasarkan metode tersebut didapatkan bahwa yang mempengaruhi cacat pada produk yaitu material bahan perekat yang terlalu banyak, mesin yang kurang perawatan, dan sumber daya manusia. Hasil reject jahit tindas logo antara lain jahitan kendor, meleset, loncat, benang putus. Untuk meminimalisir kesalahan produk pada saat proses jahit tindas logo diperlukan ketelitian dalam menjahit, pengeleman logo dan velcro menggunakan satu sisi bahan, dilakukannya pengecekan mesin secara berkala, serta untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk material yang digunakan lebih diperhatikan sesuai permintaan buyer. A company engaged in the industry of leather golf gloves at PT. Adi Satria Abadi often has defective products in the manufacturing process. In order to reduce this, the final work aims to find out and solve the problem. The material observed is the glove found on the sewing stage, especially the defect in the sewing part of the logo. The method used is observation, interview. Based on this method, it was found that the effect of defects in the product was too much adhesive material, machines that lack maintenance, and human resources. The reject result of logo stitching includes loose stitches, misses, jumps, broken threads. To minimize product errors during the logo stitching process, careful sewing, gluing of the logo and velcro is needed using one side of the material, periodic machine checks are carried out, and the quality of material products used is more carefully considered as requested by the buyer.
