Abstract

PT SS Utama merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang pembuatan sepatu, memproduksi sepatu lokal serta ekspor dengan berbagai macam merek diantaranya: Ardiles, Ortuseight, Brodo, dan Tommy Hilfiger. Salah satu proses yang terdapat pada perakitan upper sepatu Ortuseight artikel Jogosala yaitu jahit strobel. Tujuan dari Tugas Akhir ini mengidentifikasi permasalahan pada faktor penyebab pada jahit strobel serta memberikan solusi perbaikan. Metode pelaksanaan dalam penyelesaian masalah ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Guna mengumpulkan data sekunder penulis menggunakan metode studi pustaka. Sedangkan analisis masalah menggunakan diagram fishbone. Dari hasil pengamatan ditemukan permasalahan pada jahit strobel antara penggabungan upper dan insole board yaitu benang kendur yang menghambat proses produksi. Faktor penyebab permasalahan pada pengamatan ini yaitu tidak adanya SOP dalam proses produksi upper. Penulis memberikan solusi perbaikan berupa pembuatan SOP yang dapat digunakan pada proses produksi. Dalam pembuatan SOP sudah tertulis dengan jelas cara untuk melakukan proses jahit strobel. Kata kunci: jahit strobel, sepatu futsal, cacat PT SS Utama is a company engaged in the shoe sector that produces local and export shoes. One of the processes involved in assembling the upper for Ortuseight shoes from the Jogosala article is strobel stitching. The purpose of this Final Project is to identify problems with the causal factors in strobel sewing and provide repair solutions. Implementation methods in solving this problem using observation, interviews, and documentation. To collect secondary data the author uses the library study method. While data analysis using fishbone diagram. From the results of observations, problems were found in strobel sewing, namely loose threads that hindered the production process. The factor causing the problem in this observation is the absence of SOP in the upper production process. the author provides an improvement solution in the form of making SOPs that can be used in the production process.
