Abstract

Materi yang dibahas dalam penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah mengatasi kerusakan open bond produk sepatu back to school artikel Tanos di PT. Bagoes Tjipta Karya. Metode pelaksanaan tugas akhir ini adalah melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil identifikasi faktor penyebab open bond diantaranya kurangnya pencahayaan pada area pengeleman, kurangnya pengkasaran pada outsole, pengeleman yang kurang merata, menumpuknya jumlah pekerjaan, lingkungan yang kurang steril, upper dan outsole masih terdapat kotoran, setting waktu dan tekanan mesin press yang kurang, dan penggabungan antara upper dan outsole yang kurang pas. Solusi perbaikan untuk mengatasi permasalahan open bond diantaranya melakukan pengkasaran tidak hanya pada komponen outsole saja tetapi pada komponen upperjuga perlu dikasarkan, membersihkan komponen upper dan outsole sebelum diulas primer dan lem, menyuntikkan larutan lem pada bagian yang terdapat cacat open bond. Perbandingan jumlah cacat produk sebelum proses perbaikan adalah 7,87%, kemudian setelah proses perbaikan menjadi 0,10%. The material discussed in this final assignment is to address the open bond article shoes back to school Tanos in PT. Bagoes Tjipta Karya. This final execution method is through observation, documentation, andlibrary study. The results show what the causes of open bond are due to the lack of lighting in the gluing area, the lack of coarsening of the outsole, uneven gluing, the accumulated amount of work, less sterile environment, upper and outsole still have the dirt, setting time and less pressure press machine, and the assembling. Improvement solutions to overcome problems are buffing not only on outsole components alone but on upper, cleaning the components of upper and outsole before gluing, injecting a solution of glue in the section of open bond defects Comparison of the number of defective products before the repair process was 7,87%, and after becomes 0,10%.
