Abstract

Pentingnya kualitas juga diterapkan PT ara Shoes Indonesia dalam memproduksi produk alas kaki. PT ara Shoes Indonesia merupakan perusahaan sepatu dikawasan Ungaran, Semarang, Jawa Tengah yang memproduksi sepatu dan ekspor upper. PT ara Shoes Indonesia dalam menjaga standar kualitasnya selalu melalui divisi quality assurnce atau quality control sebelum upper sepatu dikemas untuk di ekspor. Proses quality merupakan proses menentukan tingkat kualitas terendah (minimum) dari proses produksi yang dianggap sebagai batas rata-rata kualitas diterima. Permasalahan cacat upper sepatu 11809-01 menggunakan metode pendekatan simulasi trial teknik pemasangan lining sebagai upaya perbaikan untuk mendapatkan efisiensi dan menjaga kualitas upper sepatu. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan pembuatan checksheet terdapat beberapa jenis cacat upper sepatu diantaranya yaitu, cacat pada saat proses forming counter, cacat pada saat proses pemasangan lining, cacat jahitan, upper kotor/rusak, overlay/bandage, cacat tidak khusus, kerusakan material, cacat tidak ada kelengkapan upper, cacat kerusakan material lining dan lain-lain. Beberapa jenis cacat yang penulis temukan, penulis mengidentifikasi pada cacat proses pemasangan lining dikarenakan presentase cacatnya 21,5%. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi cacat pemasangan lining adalah manusia, metode WI (Work Instruction) kurang detail, mesin yang kurang diperhatikan dan material yang tipis dan mudah robek. Dari beberapa faktor penyebab cacat pemasangan lining dapat dilihat bahwa faktor utama ada pada metode pemasangan lining dan operator tidak menggunakan teknik yang tepat sehingga, terdapat cacat pada proses pemasangan lining. Oleh karena itu, penulis melakukan trial simulasi untuk meminimalisir terjadinya cacat pada saat proses pemasangan lining. Hasil dari trial simulasi yang penulis lakukan ditemukan metode penyemprotan lem lateks secara 360° memutar dengan jarak 15cm, pemasangan lining dengan mal cetakan dan checksheet perawatan mesin spray lateks. PT ara Shoes Indonesia is a shoe company in the Ungaran area, Semarang, Central Java that produces shoes and exports uppers. PT ara Shoes Indonesia in maintaining its quality standards always goes through the quality assurance or quality control division before the shoe upper is packaged for export. The quality process is the process of determining the lowest (minimum) quality level of the production process which is considered the average limit of accepted quality. The problem of shoe upper defects 11809-01 uses the simulation approach method of the trial of the lining installation technique as an effort to improve to get efficiency and maintain the quality of the shoe upper. Based on the results of observation and making of checksheets, there are several types of shoe upper defects, namely, defects during the counter forming process, defects during the lining installation process, seam defects, dirty/damaged uppers, overlays/bandage, non-special defects, material damage, defects in the absence of upper completeness, defects in lining material damage and others. Several types of defects that the author found, the author identified defects in the lining installation process due to the percentage of defects 21,5%. The factors that affect the defects in lining installation are humans, the WI (Work Instruction) method is less detailed, the machine is less paid attention to and the material is thin and easily torn. From several factors that cause defects in the installation of lining, it can be seen that the main factor is in the method of installing the lining and the operator does not use the right technique so that there is a defect in the installation process of the lining. Therefore, the author conducted a simulation trial to minimize the occurrence of defects during the lining installation process. The results of the simulation trial conducted by the author found a 360° method of spraying latex glue with a distance of 15cm, installation of lining with mold malls and latex spray machine maintenance checksheets.
